Chest Pain Valve Program Coordinator

Plano, Texas

Texas Health Presbyterian Plano is currently seeking to hire a Chest Pain/Valve Program Coordinator.

The address is: 6200 W. Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

Salary Range: Min. $35.66/hr. – Max. $52.40/hr. – based on relevant work experience.
Work Schedule: Full Time. 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8AM-5:00PM

• Provides leadership and vision for the Chest Pain Program in terms of operations, services and patient care, consistent with best practices and evidence based care
• Leads and directs achievement in the provision of quality care to the identified patient population, working with appropriate staff and physicians.
• Analyzes data and coordinates implementation of practice changes as needed and develops plan for monitoring ACS, chest pain, AMI patients. Maintains related database.
• Suggests opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care while researching internal and external organizational benchmarking reports
• Oversees and facilitates care and follow-up of patients.
• Develops and revises orders for the Valve/structural heart patients in conjunction with physicians and nursing staff

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Education Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Req
Experience 5 Years Telemetry, Critical Care, or Emergency Room Req
Licenses and Certifications RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req Other specialty certification Upon Hire Pref
Skills Effective leadership and interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills in English; advanced knowledge of current professional and health care issues and nursing practice. Experience in project management. Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
